It was a day like any other, everyone left the hotel's restaurant. Chiaki stayed in the lobby to play some games on her PSP.
“I'm sorry for being late, Chiaki-chan”
“No, it's okay, Mikan. Are you ready for the next round?”
“Yes! Please, let's continue playing”
Mikan was very excited for spending time with someone she could trust and who was so kind to her. She sat next to Chiaki who handled her the console and was explaining every time Mikan didn't have any idea what to do next. But Mikan wasn't really interested in the game itself, but with being nearby Chiaki.
It was obvious that after being bullied for so long time, she quickly fell in love with Chiaki who cared about her like nobody did in the past. She was for her when she needed… what meant almost all the time.
However, playing with Chiaki helping her understand various games' mechanics was making her so focused on it that she didn't have time to pay attention to Hiyoko who continued bullying her. Just, from time to time, Chiaki was lifting her head from Mikan's shoulder and making an expression that was scaring Hiyoko and she was running away to Mahiru.
When being around, Chiaki was always make sure that Mikan was safe and couldn't hurt herself.
“I'm sleepy”
“Let's take a nap, then”
Mikan gave Chiaki her PSP back and they laid down the coach they were sitting on. There wasn't too much space for more than one person, so Chiaki had to sleep on top of Mikan and it wasn't a problem for any of them. They weren't changing their positions during sleep, so it was safe for them to take a nap this way. Mikan hugged Chiaki and stroked her hair, smiling to herself. She found her cute, especially when she was sleeping.
A quick kiss on top of Chiaki's head and both were deep in sleep.
