She doesn't like Sharon. It's what Kat tells herself when looking in the mirror. She's gotten very good at being able to lie to herself over the years.
Kat has never been into women, always men. All they have ever done is hurt her and let her down, but one thing everyone knows about her was she loved men. She was searching for something in them that would fix something inside her which broke years ago.
But there was something about Sharon that made her feel different.
She wanted to kiss her lips and touch her hair. Kat wanted to see her cry and laugh. She wanted to fight her in the streets and take her to bed.
It wasn't fair. She didn't know how to switch those feelings off. She understood why Phil couldn't let her go even though he'd tried over thousand times everyone knew the love of his life was Sharon.
It's because she burrowed inside people's heads. Like a parasite. Kat was just like everyone else when it came to her.
