Your mouth has always run faster than your brain especially when you feel cornered. Whatever the argument had been about, it’s a blur now. All you can think about is the sting still blooming across your skin, lingering echo of her hand.
You enjoyed it a little much. The wetness between your legs was almost uncomfortable. Jill looked smug, she knew you almost better than you knew yourself.
“Do you feel like behaving yet?” Jill asked, voice low and teasing. She watched you in a way that made you feel seen and pinned down all at once. “Are you ready to be the good girl I know you can be?”
Inside you were two wolves. One was a brat who wanted to shake their head no, the other wanted to sob and beg for her to touch you, anywhere, and everywhere.
Jill didn't wait for your answer. She leaned in until you felt her breath against your neck, her teeth tracing just enough to make you shiver. She never left marks, never something you can’t explain, but she always leaves reminders. Just enough so that you could feel her on your skin when she wasn't there.
“Please,” You breathe, the word trembling out of you before you can catch it. It sounded like surrender, but both of you know better.
“See, I don’t believe you, pretty girl.” Her hand slid up, slow enough to make you squirm. “You’d say anything to get what you want, wouldn’t you?”Jill’s chuckle was soft and all knowing. You cannot help but think that's the laugh God has when watching humans take the path he set. Or whatever God did. You weren't exactly sure you believed in one.
She’s right, of course. She usually was. That’s what you hate and what keeps you coming back.
“I’m sorry,” You whispered, looking at her with puppy dog eyes. That's true. Maybe just not for things Jill thinks you should be sorry for. Your breath hitches when her fingers trace a line of promise over your skin, just close enough to make you tremble, never enough to satisfy.
“Sure you are,” Jill murmured, voice dipping lower, darker. “Let’s see how sorry you really are when I keep this going all night.”
