Diana hoped that selling the house would make the dreams stop. It didn't. Even when she called things off with Oliver, they didn't stop. Something had been unlocked inside her and wouldn't switch off.
Pleasant dreams were fine, she could cope with those. Her nightmares were dangerous. It's why she sent Jenny away, she loved her, she really did. Diana had finally accepted that she liked women, embraced it.
But Jenny has suffered enough, it wasn't fair to keep dragging her into her nightmares. Sometimes literally into them. So she let her go, isolated herself in the middle of nowhere.
