Chapter 1: Pumpkin stress (Hermione/Pansy)

Summary:

HP Spooky Saffics 2025 prompt 1: pumpkin

Notes:

The first three chapters are from the HP Spooky Saffics 2025 fest, the rest is new :) <3

Chapter Text

“Come on, it will be fine,” Pansy said, already slightly annoyed.

“No, it will not! I have five more chapters to–” Hermione began but was rudely interrupted.

“Hermione, it’s pumpkin carving, for Salazar’s sake. You do not need to study it, put the book away or I will.”

At the very clear threat, Hermione reluctantly hid it back into the safety of her rucksack.

“Stop making a face, I will help you, okay? It’s not that hard, you will see.”

Pansy put her arm around the Gryffindor and tried to take her mind off of the pumpkin carving event tomorrow.

Chapter 2: tea time (Bellatrix/Umbridge)

Summary:

HP Spooky Saffics 2025's day 2: tea

Notes:

In my mind this went into a different, but similar direction. That's why the word tea is only at the end.
I tried to come up with a nickname for Dolores and picked Lory, lol. Though Kitty fits her kitten obsession.

Chapter Text

“Poor little Mudblood,” Bellatrix mocked as she pushed herself off the hallway’s stone wall. “All alone with Bella and Lory.”

The Gryffindor first year looked around confused until–

Hem hem,” sounded a sickly sweet voice behind him. He started to sweat; being caught alone between Bellatrix Black and Dolores Umbridge was never good.

“Yes, Love,” said the Slytherin with the pink bow. “Unfortunate indeed. Whatever shall we do?”

“Itty bitty baby dared to roam our dungeons all by himself, doesn’t that deserve a lesson, Kitty?”

“Oh, it definitely does, dear Bella.”

“No, I–”

“Come, drink some tea with us.”

“Please–”

Chapter 3: a soft breeze (Ginny/Luna)

Summary:

HP Spooky Saffics 2025's prompt 3: wind

Chapter Text

On an unusually warm autumn day, most Hogwarts students were outside–Ginny and Luna among them.

Ginny, of course, had fought with a bunch of Slytherins to secure the best spot for the both of them.

Her Bat-Boogey-Hex was no joke.

The topic of the Quibbler faded into the background as a breeze picked up, lifting the blonde’s light ringlets.

Ginny was transfixed.

She knew that her best friend–sadly not girlfriend (yet)–was beautiful but…

As the warm light of the sun shone on the dancing strands of hair, Ginny was rendered speechless by just how ethereal Luna looked.
