It was foretold since a millennia ago. Ones who'd partake in the ways of the forbidden were the enemy. The natural order must upheld at all costs, as per the rules that had been her guiding light.

Nowadays what guided her was different. Her own rules now forged the path ahead, instead of ones set long ago by long dead men she’d never met. What hadn’t changed however was that Lachesis was still her enemy.

On a quest to open the Door of Darkness for her master, the Abysallis Sisters partook in some of the most forbidden alchemy of all.

Exgotchalibur in hand, the current battle against Lachesis was tough. She had shown prowess with her blade. Rinne’s ring shined bright as she transmuted air into shards of shimmering glass, bursting forth towards her foe.

Lachesis deflected some of them, but took a couple hits. Planting her sword into the ground as she glared at Rinne.

“You think this can beat me?” She cackled, laugh filling the air. “You’re mistaken!”

Their blades met in a furious clash. Both of them pushed towards the other in a show of power, as steel ground against steel. In a moment of quick thinking, Rinne transmuted nearby plants into vines that swept the sword out of Lachesis’ hand. Cornering her as Rinne shoved her right onto the ground.

“You won’t get away with this.”

She only gave Rinne a smirk in response—then fiercely pulled her into a kiss, before vanishing without a trace.
