Work Text:

The never ending night and the moon crescent is what accompanies Bibi late at night, her gears at full speed, her wheels never stopping leaving marks on the ground. Batgirl stopped driving at the bridge, pulling herself up into the buildings.

Harley did the mug of the night; some acclaimed chess player coming into Gotham to show up years worth of awards. It took one person to turn their back for Harley to grab it all into a big bulk bag. The report came quickly to the batcave and from then on the persecution took place.

The shiny trophies on her hands dropped one after another sounding against the ground followed by a mischievous laugh. Bibi heard the hero's teeth grind. Soon enough the only sound was her and the goon engie.

Jestah eyes light up as brilliant as always, a vibrant smile intruding into Bibi's receptors. The place was dark, the only light bouncing was from a nearby streetlight.

“Sooooo…” the AVG started, one of her wheels doing a circle into the ground, apparently eager to get Bibi to talk.

The motorbike stared into a trashcan, suddenly feeling her brakes shake. If that was possible.

“N-no, I can't, Batgirl could need me at any moment” she tried to drive past Jestah but the cheetah managed to dash in front of her.

“Oh, come on! You promised!” She whined. Bibi sighed, it was true.

And what would BC or Bam say in such situations?

Always keep your promises.

However Bam never had to deal with an enemy car doing puppy eyes. Her wheels glued into the cement, about to melt into a very fluorescent jelly. Like Ace when he tried to get away with eating too many snacks. Like the kids asking something from Batman.

A promise was a promise.

Bibi sighed and mumbled “lead the way.”

Immediately followed the criminal around the streets, the never ending mock of Jestah's wheels turning, filling the silence.

“The park?” Bibi asked.

"Yep! Since it's like our place” Jestah said, chuckled a little and waited for the motorbike to enter too.

Once inside, Jestah poked her with a wheel.

“Tag, you are it!”

And just like that Jestah ran away from her. Bibi's doubts quickly vanished.

“That's not fair! You did not warn me! Come back” she accelerated, already laughing.

It was a moment of pure enjoyment; driving, jumping, doing trick after trick until their engines started to overheat. They took a break, absolutely content. The wind rose against the trees and the sound flew and went with no care in the world.

BIP BIP BIP

Oh.

“That's Batgirl!, I'm sorry, I need to go”

However Jestah pouted.

“But we are having so much fun! Can you just say your system broke or something?”

The bat furrowed.

“No, I cannot just lie like that. Also… probably Harley needs you too” Bibi said. Her voice shushed.

It was not in her best interest to remind the enemy to play their part correctly. It was embarrassing.

“But…” continued Jestah, whining like a puppy.

Bibi could not just fall again like that for those electric eyes. She sighed.

“Look, we can… we can play more, another time”

The AVG suddenly raised, her whole body going in circles before suddenly stopping to look at Bibi with star eyes.

“Really? Another date!?”

Bibi's panel turned completely red.

“Don't call it like that…”

“But it is, right? Right?” Jestah wasted no time surrounding Bibi. Her hyena qualities shined alongside a beaming smile.

Now it was Bibi the one who was about to melt into the cement, defeated.

“...yes, a date”

“Hurray!!!” She speeded to her side, snuggled for a second then drove straight to the entrance of the park “see ya there! Unless you are too slow!!!”

Is Jestah doing this on purpose? What kind of ability is this?

“That's not fair! You did it again! Agh!” the motorbike accelerated, using her

And so, Bibi found herself now tangled to someone not so much of an enemy anymore but also not so much of a friend. She was unsure of the end goal, but she was happy to share something with Jestah, of all cars.

Notes:

English is not my first language, this was a leap of fate of my part for the Bibijestah nation.
