Attention

Summary:

Teruko was observing other people from the last desk in the classroom – or, much rather, one specific person.

Work Text:

Teruko took a seat in the last desk in the classroom. She didn't feel like being in the centre of attention or anything of that kind. It was better to avoid other people.

In the other hand, she was the one to observe her classmates – ironic, isn't it?

She a little bit envied that some of them were getting along even if it was just a couple of days, but maybe they simply knew each other before the college – shit, Whit and David were a couple already.

She was watching that one girl specifically – Arei. Blue hair, athletic, pretty. She couldn't help it, but imagined herself doing romantic stuff to her.

She was so disconnected from her surroundings that she didn't notice when someone approached her.

“Hey, pretty girl, what are you looking at~?”

Shit, it was Arei herself.

“Y– you–” Teruko chocked on her words. “Did you just call me pretty?”

“Yeah, you're quite pretty. What would you say to meet after the classes?”

“Stop pulling my leg.” Teruko didn't want to believe that someone would actually be interested in her.

Arei put her index finger under Teruko's chin and kissed her to assure her she wasn't kidding.

“I'm not mocking you, sweetie. Let's go on the best date you've ever been to.”

Teruko couldn't believe that she has just had her first kiss in the entire life and it was with the girl she was crushing on. And that girl was asking her out. Oh, shit.

Arei rested her elbows on Teruko's desk and supported her head on her hands, watching her with a huge smile. As if she has just won in a lottery, or something.

Teruko was looking around nervously, making sure that nobody was watching them. She knew that her face was red as a tomato. What the hell Arei was doing to her? She has never felt like that in her entire life.

“Uh, y– yeah, sure.” She was feeling like an idiot for not being able to stay cool and calm in a situation like that – it didn't help her feel a bit better that it was the first time somebody asked her out.
