Akane pressed the doorbell next to Kiyoka's door. Kiyoka was probably holding the doorknob for a while already as she opened almost immediately and let her in.
Akane was holding a tray with tea and a plate of chocolate cookies she made.
“Oh, that looks so tasty. Thanks, Akane,” Kiyoka said, smiling widely.
Akane placed the tray on the table and filled two cups with the warm drink. She then took a seat in the front of Kiyoka.
As usually, Kiyoka was talking a lot. It was just in her nature to be loud or get excited easily. That was what Akane loved about her.
Even in a situation of being away of their homes and families, Kiyoka could still put a brightest smile on her face.
When the plate was empty and there was no more tea, they moved to the bed. It was more comfortable than sitting on the chairs.
Strangely for herself, Kiyoka went quiet. Her being quiet worried Akane who was about to say something, but Kiyoka cut her off with kiss.
It wasn't a thing Akane expected to ever happen. She took her hand and kissed her back. There was no reason for her to think that Kiyoka was just playing with her.
Kiyoka then broke the kiss and looked away, embarrassed about her sudden action. She was about to say something, but Akane put a finger over her lips.
“I love you, too.”
