Coffee

Summary:

Yoruko received an anonymous letter asking her to meet in a coffee shop.

Work Text:

Yoruko was almost giving up on the idea of being able to meet Sora again. She even stopped counting years from the day they met for the first time.

One day, she got an anonymous letter asking her to meet in a coffee shop.

She couldn't forget the fact Sora loved coffee and it almost brought her hope back, but it could be a stupid joke as well.

Yet, she decided to show up. It was a very known local, so there was no reason to worry about the traumatic situation happening again.

On the right date, she visited the coffee shop and waited next to the doors. There were a lot of people passing by and nobody approaching her for a good moment, until she saw a familiar face.

Even if Sora was wearing different clothes to the ones she used to wear in the virtual world and her hair was tied differently, Yoruko recognized her instantly.

It wasn't the black cloak that the Kisaragi Foundation talked about either, but it was something covering the shape of the body.

Sora ran to her and hugged her tight. Yoruko embraced her back.

They missed each other so much.

“Sora, I- I was almost-”

Sora didn't let her finish her phrase and kissed her. Yoruko wished for this moment for so long. They could feel like the world stopped around them for a while.

Then, they entered the coffee shop and ordered two coffees with some cake.

They spent a lot of time talking about the stuff that happened to them since the moment they said goodbye to each other. Sora avoided some topics that could make Yoruko worry.

“H- hey, Sora. Do you… have a place to stay?”

“Not really, why?”

“You could stay with me, then. There's a lot of space in my place.”

“That's sweet of you, but there's one thing you should be aware of, you know?”

“What's this?”

Sora lowered her tone.

“You see, I'm not alone in that body. There are two, or maybe three more people in it.”

Yoruko chuckled.

“Sora, you're talking to a certified psychologist. That's okay with me.”

“If you say so, then it's okay. But, keep in mind, dating me doesn't equal dating the rest and-”

“Don't worry about it. I accept you.”

Yoruko put her hand over Sora's, smiling warmly. Sora smiled back at her.

They finished their drink and desserts already, so they left.

Sora took Yoruko's hand and they went home.
