Work Text:

Aizou and Yuujirou usually didn't miss school. Even though they worked hard as idols, school was something they both took seriously and so did their manager. They tried their best in class but there were some times when they didn't have any other choice than skip school. It could be for an important interview for a famous magazine, a show on the other side of the country, an important meeting for their career... When it happened someone had to take lessons and homework to them so they wouldn't fall behind. And obviously, the one who had been chosen for this task was... Hiyori.

Which was the reason why she was standing in the middle of the studio, completely lost, trying to find her way to her classmates. She tried to avoid screaming staff members and running assistants, but in the middle of the bustle she failed to notice a blond girl behind her. She bumped into her and, jumping out of surprise, she let the papers she had been holding fall to the ground.

“I'm so sorry!” She gasped before kneeling down, avoiding to make eye contact with the people that were groaning because she was in their way.

“No, no, it's my fault. I'm sorry.” The other one answered. Hiyori finally looked up to see a blond girl, probably around her age. Her face was familiar but as she was literally surrounded by famous people it was more likely she had seen her on a poster and not at school. She was currently frowning at something on her right, but she suddenly turned to look at her. Hiyori looked down and picked her things before getting up, bowing slightly.

“I'm really sorry.” She repeated.

“It's okay, don't worry.” She scratched her cheek. “You seemed lost, are you looking for someone?”

“That's – uh.... My classmates are...” Hiyori stuttered. It was always embarrassing to say that those two were her classmates. Usually their manager would just meet her in front of the studio and she wouldn't have to talk to anyone else. It was probably the kind of excuse fans used in order to see them. What if they thought she was lying? It would be the most embarrassing moment of her life...

“Oh! You must be Someya and Shibasaki's classmate!”

Hiyori blinked at her before smiling when she registered her words.

“Yes, my name is Suzumi Hiyori! I just wanted to give these worksheets to Someya-kun and Shibasaki-kun but I can't find them...”

The girl glanced again at her right but she spoke up before Hiyori managed to catch what she was looking at.

“They're running late.” She told her. “I can wait for them with you, if you want.”

“Oh no, I don't want to disturb you.”

“It's fine, I'll show you around.”

And before Hiyori would protest she put a hand on her back and began to guide her through the studio. “I'm Mona by the way. Nice to meet you.” Hiyori smiled shyly at her, wondering if it was okay for her to be there in the first place. She began to follow the blonde when her words suddenly sank in.

“Narumi Mona!” She almost yelled, her hands flying to her mouth when Mona turned to face her, her eyebrows raised.

“Yes?”

“No, I mean – I'm just – I love you–” She noticed the people around them were beginning to stare. “Your songs! I love your songs!” She added, blushing.

“Ah, thanks?”

“You were really beautiful – I mean, the lyrics are beautiful! And I cried the first five times I listened to your last song, your voice is wonderful and the outfit really brought your eyes out–” She stopped when Mona looked down, the back of her hand hiding her eyes. Hiyori could see that even her ears were beet red and she realised that she may have been talking too loudly. She blushed too.

“I'm glad you liked it.” Mona finally said when she finally looked up. “I–” She scratched her cheek shyly. “I need to try a new costume on, do you want to come with me?”

Hiyori's eyes widened and she nodded keenly before walking with her, talking about her last show.

A few steps further, Aizou was staring at the two girls, disbelief clearly written on his face.

“Did Narumi just kidnap Suzumi?” He whispered to Yuujirou who was shaking his head at them, unimpressed.

“Go for it, Mona!” Sena whispered next to them.

However her cheers were cut short when she heard the voice of the director.

“How are we supposed to shoot that video clip if the princess is not here?! Narumi Mona!”

The three teenagers agreed to run away before enduring the woman's wrath.
