Hanamaru glanced at the plate Yoshiko had just placed in front of her. She then looked up at her girlfriend who was smiling, patiently waiting for her to taste what she had cooked.
Hanamaru swallowed hard, unwillingly inhaling the unwelcoming smell of the strange mixture.
“I've been taking cooking classes. I'm sure it'll be delicious!” Yoshiko said.
She doubted it... And despite the classes Yoshiko had taken, she knew it wouldn't help. But since she loved her, she grabbed her chopsticks and started to eat, hoping she wouldn't throw up right away.
Hanamaru spent the rest of the week bedridden.
