Monaco took the necklace Seychelles was handing her and frowned slightly. When Seychelles had told her that she would give her a present the next time they met, she hadn't thought that she would end up with this... this... thing.
"So? Do you like it?"
Seychelles offered her a big smile - a smile that Monaco returned with difficulty.
When Monaco thought of jewellery, she thought of pearls or diamonds. When Seychelles thought of jewellery, she apparently thought of a handmade necklace with huge shells of different sizes and colours...
How could she tell her she would probably never wear it...
