Kotori fell on the floor as soon as Umi announced that they could take a quick break. It was so hot that she felt like she was in the middle of the desert, yet they continued to practice relentlessly for their next concert.
Honoka lay down and rested her head on her thighs despite the heat.
“I'm going to die, Kotori-chan. I'm going to die because of Umi-chan and she won't even care.”
Kotori didn't have the strength to speak, but she understood her pain. She ran a hand through Honoka's hair and enjoyed their short break while she could.
