During winter, Ruby loved to pile several blankets on her bed. She could spend hours in the warmth looking at the snow. Yet this winter, she never once stayed in bed too long.
As soon as she woke up, she would get up and look at the clock. Then, when she saw that she had woken up in time, she would run to her window and look out onto the street. There she would wait patiently until You passed.
If she was lucky, she would look up and smile at her and Ruby knew she would have a good day.
