Maki knew she wasn't good at keeping secrets. She had stopped trying a long time ago and now she would rather stay quiet than making up a lie she couldn't even hold long enough. Yet, as she tried to hide her feelings for Nico, she felt like all her friends knew about it. Some of them were quite discreet like Umi and Eli, but others didn't hesitate to tease her like Nozomi and Rin.
The only one who didn't know yet was Nico herself, though Maki would have wanted her to notice so she wouldn't have to tell her herself.
