“Look, Honoka... I'm going to break the record.”
Nico pointed the fake gun at the screen, waited a few seconds, then when the enemies started to appear she fired once, twice, five times, ten times... Until no one was left standing. She looked at her score at the top of the screen and smiled, satisfied.
“Wow... Nico-chan, you're so good!”
Her smile widened. Of course she was proud of herself and of course she was the best, but Honoka's words of admiration were still nice.
It was worth the trip to the city even though they had an exam tomorrow.
