Sumire reached for the talisman on the desk. She looked at it before a smile made its way onto her face.
“You kept this?”
Keke snatched the object from her hands and when Sumire turned around, she was glaring. Yet her cheeks were red.
“I wasn't going to throw it away. It's bad luck.”
Sumire didn't say anything, not wanting to anger her even more. Keke was the kind of person who got carried away very quickly. Still, she couldn't hide her smile. Keke had kept the talisman she had given her and she knew it was because she cared.
