Misaki knew she was naive. Alice had told her so dozens of times when they were still teenagers who knew nothing about the world around them. Her friend kept teasing her, convinced that she didn't know anything about adult things, about the atrocities that happened in the world, about carnal pleasure, about all the things teachers at school wouldn't talk about.
But Misaki was not stupid. What made her naive was that she had believed she and Alice could always be together, as friends, as lovers, and that nothing would separate them.
And her naivety hurt her terribly even today.
