Notes:

Oh, Love Potions... This has always been one of my favorite DWP oneshots. And even back when I first read it, I had this inkling that it would be so cool if there was a version of this story where the perfume's scent, this poignant and intangible thing, would be represented by music. That was long before I became a podficcer. (Actually, back then I was more imagining something like a video: still illustrations, some quotes from the story, and music. Something along those lines anyway.) Anyway, once I did begin to make podfic, and podfic with music, I of course thought of "Love Potions". I also settled pretty quickly on Schumann's "Erster Verlust", too. (First loss... it seemed quite fitting for a story about Miranda and Andy not even realizing the things they've lost here.) And yet it took me actual years to finish this. Probably because it had been such an aspirational project for me for such a long time, and because I had so many different potential ideas of how to do turn it into audio that would do it justice. In any case, I have now decided to use my piano recordings from summer 2023 and the narration from spring 2024 and finally produce it. So here we are :)
