Jenny's cheeks were pink from the icy cold wind. Vastra hated winter. She yearned for warmer climates. She and Jenny could leave the country and find a place where the sun shone most of the time. Vastra had thought about it often.
But this was Jenny's home. The novelty of foreign climates would wear off quickly for her wife and she would soon get home sick. So they stay here and battle the winter, the summer was not much warmer.
“Remind me to kill Strax later,” Jenny huffed as they dragged his drunk and passed out body through the snow to home.
“Of course my dear.”
