Description:

Vehuel is an angel -- a Principality, specifically. Unfortunately she only ever seems to be assigned to cities that end up getting destroyed, burned to the ground, or just becoming mysteriously depopulated for reasons archaeologists still don't understand. Vehuel is the kind of person you get when you create someone specifically to be an engineer, train them in combat and spycraft, and then send them off to be a social worker for four thousand years.

Nisroc is a demon -- one that's much more powerful than Vehuel. They've had many names, and have run many scams, and also sometimes they eat people. But they're also a really good cook so there's that. Also, they have this kid, Grendel. He's a really sweet kid. You'd like him.

Vehuel and Nisroc are basically always either trying to murder each other for fun, soppily in love (and still trying to murder each other for fun), or extremely divorced and trying to murder each other for real.

Notes:

I came up with these two characters while writing a long Aziraphale/Crowley fic set in 1926 Chicago and promptly fell in love with them. I've got tons of unfinished stuff about them too, which I will... figure out how I want to upload. I'm not sure I'll be writing more Good Omens fic about the canon characters, but I love these morons too much to give them up.

I've tagged Vehuel/Nisroc consistently as F/NB even though Nisroc is female-presenting in everything I've posted on Sunset, but there's parts of their backstory where one or the other of them is in a masculine-appearing or gender-ambiguous or androgynous body. I tend to think of them as mostly F/F, but Nisroc doesn't have a particular gender identity and tends to change presentation based more on what they think would be safest, most convenient, or most fun, depending on their priorities. (Their focus is usually what's fun.)

Vehuel does have a gender identity! She won it in a dice game on ancient Thera. Sometimes (usually not, but sometimes) Heaven sends her to Earth with a male cover story and body, but she doesn't have to like it.

(Stuff tagged Other is probably stuff where Vehuel's inconvenient crush on Michael is a significant motivator to the plot, but Michael's awareness of said crush is... ambiguous. But like. She has to know, right?)
