“Leona, could you drop by my dorm later?”
Leona glanced up to her girlfriend, Adora. “Sure thing, hun. What’s up?”
“I’ve been working on something, and want you to look at it!”
“Alright, I’m convinced. I’ll be there.”

Leona knocked on Adora’s door as soon as she got there. The door slid open, so Leona walked in. Adora was hunched over her work desk, fabrics spread around. On her chemistry desk, a lot of different beakers and pipettes were laying down on a drying towel. Leona quietly approached Adora, and gnetly tapped her shoulder.
Adora shot up, and turned around to Leona, an excited smile across her face. “Perfect, I just finished!” Adora picked up a jacket and pushed in into Leona’s arms.
Leona unfolded the jacket and slipped it on. As she looked at it, she noticed it was covered in a spattering of a gem she didn’t recognize. “What’s this gem?”
“They’re diamonds!”
Leona looked up with a confused expression. “What’s a diamond?”
“Oh, right. It’s a gemstone that’s commonly formed on Wishworld. I found out how to synthesize it. It’s very shiny, and quite tough. Just like you!”
Leona felt her heart melt a little at that compliment. “Aww, thank you!”
Leona hugged Adora tightly, which the other girl returned.
