Work Text:

“Yumehara, I sense a dark apocalypse will befall you,” Arisu told the girl, as if she wasn’t getting her nails painted at that moment.

“Hmm? Why’s that?” Yumehara asked, completely used to these kinds of warnings from Arisu.

“If you cannot tell your crush that you like them, they may die,” Aiura declares gravely.

Yumehara paused her painting. “That can’t be right…right?”

“I am sorry.”

Yumehara finished Arisu’s last nail, and then put the lid back on the bottle, tightening it fully. “When do I need to tell them by?”

“As soon as you can manage.”

“…can I leave club early?” Yumehara asked the girl, putting away all the cosmetics the two had been messing with.

“Of course. Lift the curse on you and your crush.” Arisu even got up to hold the door for the other girl, who took it gratefully. Arisu watched after Yumehara carefully, and slid the door closed as she left. But, after a few moments, she silently slipped out and started following Yumehara.

Truthfully, Arisu had made up this particular curse. The other ones she’s warned Yumehara about had been real, though, so she was relying on that built trust. Yumehara had been on the fence for months about who she even liked, and then onto whether or not to tell them. Even Arisu didn’t know who they were, so she set this up to get Yumehara to finally move to the next step.

As Yumehara walked confidently through the halls of P.K., Arisu stalked after her, wanting to make sure and see both who the person was and help Yumehara in the event of a bad ending.

Finally, they made it to a classroom. Walking in, the only person there was Aiura. Arisu stayed by the door, watching carefully. Her first question was why Aiura was even alone in here. Her next question was how she would take this news.

Arisu could only look through the glass of the door, and couldn’t hear Yumehara’s confession. But, Arisu didn’t need to hear to know Aiura’s opinion. Apparently, she must have reciprocated, because as soon as Yumehara stopped talking, Aiura immediately kissed the other girl.

Arisu dropped down from her surveillance point, feeling like she really intruded on the moment. ‘Well…at least Yumehara seems to have girlfriend now. Good for her.’
