Os murmúrios, as lágrimas, as expressões de dor e perda; todo o sofrimento que viriam a sentir durante a continuação de seu dia a dia eram muito mais amplo e profundo do que a dor que assombrava seu peito.

Se ela conseguia ver um pouco do caminho e de algumas plantas, era por causa da lua que brilhava com intensidade e solidão no céu, já que aquela era a única luz que existia por ali. Nem mesmo as estrelas pareciam estar acompanhando a tragédia que aconteceu com a descendentes dos Wolf.
Tensionando os lábios para impedir-se de fazer algum som, ela deu um passo pra frente. A náusea subiu pela seu pescoço e se firmou no fundo da garganta, e pontinhos negros dançaram pela sua visão quando o calor em seu ferimento aumentou, fazendo a dor escalar pela lateral do seu corpo. A pressão em seu peito retornou, a forçando a abrir a boca, numa tentativa de colocar ar para dentro dos seus pulmões sufocados. Mesmo com tudo isso que se passava pelo seu corpo, Ramona deu mais um passo à frente.
