There was nothing but beauty in observing a reticent woman let herself be open in front of another, to see her shut off her own demons and go after what she desired even if her insecurities always tried to get her to give up on it. It was not the first time she was watching it happen, however, it still made her chest throbs with fondness. And it definitely showed in her face, if the way Nico’s lips tilted up in a pleased smirk when their gazes locked in was any indication.

While her brain is working itself into an overdrive, her eyes are staring seeingless at the dark azured-sky. The feeling of the soft soil against her skin is a clue that her body is lying in the ground — well, she thinks it’s the earth. Since her memories are just a long blank, she can't be so sure. It’s weird, somehow knowing and not knowing something. The air that enters her lungs is crisp and the humid ground under her fingers is distracting. Does she even want to know how she got here…? Looking at the lack of twinkling stars, she frowns. There’s no shining moon either, only a musky darkness; as if a veil is hiding the light of the night from the people — like her brain is concealing her identity from herself, for whatever reason it found necessary. Thus, she has no idea of where she even is or what she should do. Was she in danger before this?
Why was that her first hypothesis?
Abiko Hiromi opens her eyes and knows nothing of the world. She's also not sure if she wants to discover what she lost.

Não conseguia parar de pensar na família das pessoas que já não mais continuariam a história de suas vidas — tinha visto, com atenção e afeto, como parentes, crianças, amantes e amigos tinham se despedido nas lápides enquanto o funeral estava acontecendo. Os murmúrios, as lágrimas, as expressões de dor e perda; todo o sofrimento que viriam a sentir durante a continuação de seu dia a dia eram muito mais amplo e profundo do que a dor que assombrava seu peito.

Assim que se percebeu em pé, ela abriu os olhos e se deparou com uma escuridão levemente semelhante com a de um cômodo sem iluminação. Se ela conseguia ver um pouco do caminho e de algumas plantas, era por causa da lua que brilhava com intensidade e solidão no céu, já que aquela era a única luz que existia por ali. Nem mesmo as estrelas pareciam estar acompanhando a tragédia que aconteceu com a descendentes dos Wolf.
Tensionando os lábios para impedir-se de fazer algum som, ela deu um passo pra frente. A náusea subiu pela seu pescoço e se firmou no fundo da garganta, e pontinhos negros dançaram pela sua visão quando o calor em seu ferimento aumentou, fazendo a dor escalar pela lateral do seu corpo. A pressão em seu peito retornou, a forçando a abrir a boca, numa tentativa de colocar ar para dentro dos seus pulmões sufocados. Mesmo com tudo isso que se passava pelo seu corpo, Ramona deu mais um passo à frente.
